public access to beach from Hinkley Lane

I was very pleased to see that the cut through to the beach is town property and that the beach has an official access point number/sign/etc. While you can't park at the end (pretty much bicycles and walking only) and the walk down is still a challenge, at least it is public. No more abutters shouting that this is private property to anyone walking down (as has happened in the past). Still a bit amusing to see how the land owners on either side have staked out their respective portion of the beach, so they can sun themselves behind their "fence" (although it really looks like cages!).
